For all you writers out there!! Want to publish your book on Amazon's Kindle? Want to make it super easy to publish?
This is a new Kickstarter project that I think can really go the distance. It's called Easy Edit for Kindle by Kelly Carter and Howard Kimball. It allows you to type in your book and it formats your work so you can hit publish and have your book ready for Kindle. No more fooling around trying to get the formats right. How neat is that??
To get your very own Easy Edit for Kindle is $25 on a USB stick, but if you want a branded one, it's $30.
Currently the Easy Edit is only available for Windows systems, but the developers are working hard to get it ready for Mac users.
They have a website - http://easyeditforkindle.com/ Currently it's in progress, and another perk of being a Kickstarter backer is that the creators are planning on letting backers have promotional hyperlinks on their website free of charge.
So as an author you're saving a ton of time with formatting and getting another outlet for free publicity for your books. :)
